Current responsibilities:
Jocelina is Head of Research Operations for the Americas. Jocelina develops and drives programs to ensure the group’s operational excellence. She ensures the Research team’s positive financial and organizational health through financial and operational best practices, processes, and governance. Passionate about developing and supporting talent, Jocelina spearheads the Research organization’s Learning & Development program which includes a customized mentorship program and a robust training program for JLL’s researchers.
Jocelina sits on the Americas Research Management team which develops and implements priorities and strategies to ensure the delivery of a market leading research platform to JLL businesses and clients. Jocelina has a track record in leading and working with cross functional teams in support of specific business priorities.
Experience:
Since joining the firm in 1995, Jocelina has held various positions with increasing responsibilities within JLL’s Research and Marketing organizations. Jocelina has extensive experience in strategic marketing and research, including market, competitive and client intelligence, strategic planning, and organizational transformations. Jocelina delivered market and competitive intelligence to corporate and business leaders across the firm to inform and drive their business, sales, and go-to-market strategies.
Before joining JLL, Jocelina was the Research Manager for the Economic Development and Industrial Corporation of Boston (EDIC/Boston). In that role, she developed and coordinated the City of Boston’s research programs to support economic development policies which included the impact analysis of the Boston waterfront economy and research for several interdepartmental studies such as the BRA/EDIC "Boston Industrial Study."
Education and affiliations:
Jocelina received her master’s degree in international and Development Economics from Yale University. She also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of the Philippines. In addition, Jocelina received numerous certifications, including on Accelerating Change Readiness and Agility from the UC Berkeley Executive Education.
Outside interests:
Jocelina serves as the Co-Chair of the University of the Philippines US-based Alumni Network. In her free time, Jocelina enjoys yoga, cooking and travelling.
