Current responsibilities
Jocelina Benzmiller is a Managing Director with JLL’s Research and Strategy group. As the leader of the Market Strategy team, Jocelina has developed the firm’s Market Strategy offering that identifies growth opportunities for JLL businesses across the Americas.
Jocelina delivers strategic market intelligence to corporate and business leaders across the firm to inform and drive their business, sales, and go-to-market strategies.
Since joining the firm in 1995, Jocelina has held various positions with increasing responsibilities within JLL’s Research and Marketing organizations. Jocelina has extensive experience in strategic marketing and research, including market, competitive and client intelligence, strategic planning, and competitive positioning assessments.
Jocelina serves as a valuable business partner to the firm’s corporate executives and has a track record in leading and working with cross functional teams in support of specific business priorities.
Jocelina has provided regular competitive landscape assessments to the firm’s corporate leaders, including to the firms’ and region’s Executive Committees and Board of Directors.
Jocelina sits on the JLL Americas Research Leadership Council, which works in developing best practice standards and collaboration across the global JLL research platform and brand, as well as on the JLL Americas Communications, Marketing and Research Leadership Council.
Experience
Over the course of 18 years at JLL, Jocelina has served as Director of Research and Marketing as well as Director of Strategic Research.
Prior to joining the company in 1995, Jocelina served as the Research Manager for the Economic Development and Industrial Corporation of Boston (EDIC/Boston). During her seven years at EDIC, she developed and coordinated the research programs to support Boston’s economic development policies.
Jocelina authored several competitive industry, economic and labor market studies, analysis of companies' locational factors, and the impact analysis study of the Boston waterfront economy, as well as conducted the research for several interdepartmental studies such as the BRA/EDIC "Boston Industrial Study."
