Career summary
Jimmy is a Managing Director in the Washington office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate. He is primarily responsible for originating debt and equity transactions throughout the country. Throughout the course of his career, Jimmy has been involved in more than $5 billion in commercial real estate transactions.
Jimmy started at HFF in November 2011. Before that, he worked at a start-up receivership firm in Chicago that managed and sold distressed real estate assets. Prior to that, he was an associate attorney at the Chicago law firm Funkhouser, Vegosen, Liebman & Dunn Ltd., where he worked on various corporate contractual matters for small- to mid-size entrepreneurial clients. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University in 2001 and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center in 2006.
