Career Summary
Jim Dooley is a Director of JLL Senior Housing Capital Markets Group, responsible for the structuring of senior housing transactions nationally, as well as debt origination and equity placement in the seniors housing space. Mr. Dooley joined JLL in 2023 and has 17 years of capital markets experience including eight years with Cushman and Wakefield’s senior housing group. He has been directly involved with closing over $3.0 billion in transactions that include investment sales, acquisition financings, equity placement, and construction debt financing.
Prior to advisory service and brokerage, Mr. Dooley was an Assistant Vice President for AEW Capital Management for nearly 10 years. His responsibilities within the opportunity funds at AEW included the underwriting and due diligence of new acquisitions and development projects, as well as managing a diverse portfolio of assets through disposition. He was directly involved in over $350 million of transactions including acquisitions, development, and financings of senior housing, industrial, multifamily, and hotel assets. Mr. Dooley also asset managed a $1 billion portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use assets across the Mid-Atlantic for DSF Advisors, based outside of Boston, in 2014-2015. Mr. Dooley holds a Bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University where he majored in Finance and Accounting.
