Current Responsibilities
Jennifer Christakes currently oversees JLL’s property management services for the New England Region.She is responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistent, high quality property operations and management for a portfolio of over 24 million s.f. of office, life science and industrial.
Experience
Jennifer has over 22 years of experience in managing commercial real estate.In her last role, Jennifer was the Operations Manager for the Midwest Region overseeing a portfolio over 70 million s.f. of of office and industrial properties.Jennifer also served in the capacity as Receiver for JLL working with the courts in managing distressed properties.In previous roles, she held several management postions throughout the Chicago market.
Prior to joining JLL, Jennifer was a Captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for eight years.During her time in the Army, Jennifer gained an array of experience, which included project management, inventory control, personnel administration, and training development and management.
Education and Affiliations
Jennifer earned an M.B.A. with a real estate concentration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a B.S. in Business from Columbia College in Missouri.She earned the Real Property Administrator (RPA) Designation through BOMI and the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED AP O+M designation.Jennifer is a member of CREW, serves on the BOMA Boston Board of Directors, and is a member of the BOMA Boston Programs and Education Committee and the DEI Committee.
