Current responsibilities
Jeff Barber is the Regional Vice President for JLL in the U.S. West and Hawaii Markets. Jeff has overall responsibility for relationship management for existing and prospective clients seeking retail services. His primary focus is to assist owners in developing profitable real estate strategies linked to their business objectives and direct a team of property management professionals to meet the operational goals of each asset. Jeff provides leadership and guidance in key areas including strategic planning, marketing initiatives and management of capital improvement programs and other value enhancement strategies.
Experience
Jeff has worked in the industry for 30 years and has extensive experience in client and tenant relations, management, lease administration, strategic planning, development, operations, project management, construction, marketing and budgeting. Prior to joining JLL, Jeff held multiple senior management positions with companies such as HomartDevelopment, General Growth Properties, Schroder Real Estate and Lend Lease.
Education and affiliations
Jeff holds degrees from Ricks College and Brigham Young University. He is an International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) member and earned a Certified Marketing Director and Certified Shopping Center Manager designation from the organization. He is a licensed Oregon real estate salesperson and real estate broker in Oregon.
Jeff also enjoys volunteer work for his church, riding motorcycles and spending time with his wife and six grown children plus one grandchild.
