Current responsibilities
Based in Chicago, Jarrod is a Vice President and serves as an extension of our client’s internal teams, dedicated to their goals and growth strategy. Jarrod provides strategic portfolio guidance, lease contract, renewal negotiations, and asset management services. He conducts lease renewal negotiations and lease restructuring serving as a liaison and brand ambassador to landlords and developers.
Experience
Jarrod is an experienced real estate professional with nearly 25 years of corporate retail real estate experience. His expertise is in high-volume retail lease contract and renewal negotiations, portfolio management, and specialty leasing. Before joining JLL, Jarrod was with Inland American as Assistant Vice President of Leasing responsible for business development and retail retention. Jarrod managed all aspects of budgeting, sourcing and negotiating leases for properties in his assigned region. Using his comprehensive real estate skills, Jarrod managed the entire lease renewal process for over 300 transactions in over 1.2 million square feet annually. In addition, he has extensive experience collaborating with partners in Operations and with Senior Leadership to provide comprehensive reporting on performance, market changes and varying property conditions.
Throughout his career, Jarrod has cultivated many relationships and maintains existing relationships with landlords, brokers and real estate management firms.

Education and affiliations
Jarrod attended The College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has completed training with the ICSC Leasing Institute in New York, New York. Jarrod holds a Real Estate Broker License in the State of Illinois.
