Current responsibilities
Jak Churton is a Managing Director in the San Francisco office and specializes in both Agency and Tenant Representation. He has worked with numerous companies in a variety of industries in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has negotiated leases on behalf of several major companies including Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Advent Software and Marsh McLennan.
Jak is responsible for representing the commercial real estate interests of his clients. With a focus on both agency and tenant representation, Jak has extensive experience in assisting his clients in strategic decision making as well as occupancy planning with a focus on the future of the Workplace. Jak has a broad transactional experience which spans a myriad of industry types in San Francisco and across the nation. His responsibilities include leading transaction teams, developing and implementing negotiating strategy and legal document review. In short, Jak is an office space problem solver.
Experience
Prior to joining JLL, Jak was a founding member of the San Francisco Insignia ESG office. In 2004, he embraced the acquisition of IESG by CBRE and was ultimately tapped for a leadership role. In 2009, he was elevated to Managing Director of the San Francisco Regional Headquarters. In this role, Jak is responsible for connecting all major business lines in a collaborative manner and is the lead Business Development Specialist for the Agency Practice Group. Since joining JLL, Jak has thrived in the collaborative environment that is JLL and sharing the extensive JLL Platform and industry leading technology tools with his clients.

Education and affiliations
Jak lives in Marin County with his wife, Lisa, and two children, Jak and Savia. Jak is a member of the South End Rowing Club USAT Triathlon.
