Current Responsibilities

Howard Traul serves as the Senior Managing Director and Co-Lead of the Government Investor Services (GIS) team in Washington, DC.

With more than 16 years of experience as a broker in the federal government real estate leasing sector, Howard joined JLL in 2022 as Senior Managing Director and Co-Lead of the GIS team which provides strategic guidance to building owners pursuing federal leasing contracts. He is an expert in federal leasing policy, processes and evaluation practices, utilizing that knowledge across the country to assist his clients in renewing and procuring new Government tenants. From his prior experience in representing the U.S. General Services Administration on their National Broker Contract, Howard has a deep network of relationships and the institutional knowledge it takes to ensure the best possible outcomes for his clients.
