Current Responsibilities
Hillman serves as Managing Director and a co-leader for the Raleigh-Durham agency leasing team in Raleigh, North Carolina. He helps building owners develop creative real estate strategies for their assets in addition to overseeing the growth and development of the firm’s Raleigh agency leasing portfolio.
Experience
Hillman began his career in 1994 working with a local developer before he was recruited by Colliers International when they opened a Raleigh, North Carolina office in 1999. He then left Colliers International to participate as a shareholder in the newly formed Cassidy Turley company, which led to a merger with DTZ and ultimate sale to Cushman & Wakefield. Hillman moved with the Agency Leasing team to JLL in the fall of 2019.
Education and Affiliates
Hillman earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University in 1992. He acquired his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) in 2001 and Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR) in 2002. Hillman has been on the board of Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR) and Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA), a member of the Raleigh Appearance Commission an advisory board to the Raleigh City Council and a member of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Hillman has been recognized as a Costar Power Broker every year since 2004 and a four-time winner of the Triangle Business Journal Space Awards for top office & flex transactions.
