Gregg is a cross trained (Landlord and Tenant perspective) real estate advisor/transactor with over $300 million in completed real estate transactions with over 20+ years of identifying and executing value-added real estate deals for private, corporate and institutional clients on both the landlord and tenant sides of the transaction. Gregg’s combination of landlord and tenant strategy, landlord investment perspective, development perspective, and tenant advisory skills provided unique capability to deliver transparent real estate insight of both sides of a transaction which drives real business value to clients.
Gregg leads three national IPS (Integrated Portfolio Solutions) accounts for International Corporations advising on strategy and overseeing lease administration and transaction execution
Experience and Accomplishments
Gregg began his career in property management with Laing/P&O in 1990. After serving six years in that capacity, he began office and industrial leasing with Laing and subsequently TrizecHahn through 1999. In 1999, he moved to CBRE and made a transition into third party Real Estate Consulting/Tenant and Landlord Representation. From 2003 to 2009 he complimented his Landlord/Tenant representation business by aligning with The Alter Group, a national office and industrial developer.
Since 1996, Mr. Metcalf has focused on assisting landlords and tenants to identify new markets, perform acquisition studies, and refocus corporate resources to increase return on investments. As a past representative for both landlords and tenants Mr. Metcalf’s ability to understand both sides of a transaction benefits his tenant clients extensively.
Education and Affiliations
Gregg received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgia State University, and an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Perimeter College
Outside of JLL Gregg serves on Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors – Past Chairman of the Education Committee and Million Dollar Club Committee, LLS (leukemia, Lymphomia Socitey) Chairman of Light the Night 2018, and LLS Big Climb 2020.
