Current responsibilities

George Gemelos focuses on office leasing transaction management, as well as the implementation of occupancy cost reduction strategies. George’ past responsibilities have included transaction management for a number of national corporate services accounts, including New York Life Insurance Company and AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company. George’s strengths include a solid understanding of office leasing, negotiation tactics, creative lease structures, as well as a unique blend of financial acumen and creativity. He utilizes his skills to partner with clients, providing them with the highest level of customer service. 

Experience

George joined JLL as a Senior Vice President in 2011. He possesses over 20 years of corporate real estate experience, including a diverse background in market research, tenant advisory services, property representation and financial analysis. Immediately prior to joining JLL, George was employed as a Senior Account Manager at Cushman & Wakefield, which he originally joined in 1997 as an Analyst in the market research department. He returned to the firm’s New York office in 2003 after spending several years working in the New Jersey real estate community. He was the Recipient of the "Top Gun" Award for C&W's first ever Broker Diploma Program in 2004. 
 
Education and Affiliations

George earned a bachelor of science degree in finance the University of Delaware, and completed graduate coursework in real estate, accounting and taxation at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. He also frequently attends education courses and seminars through Corenet Global, the CCIM Institute and NYU's Real Estate Institute.
