Current responsibilities:

George Cutro, a veteran of over 30 years of research in the Chicago Industrial market, joined JLL in 2015 as Director of Industrial Research for the Midwest region. His responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of JLL’s new MarketSphere database. Mr.Cutro coordinates efforts with local research team and demonstrates best practices on how to maintain database work flow. His efforts also include streamlining quarterly data gathering and scrubbing of third-party data. George maintains strong ties with the brokerage and institutional community and ensures collaboration with Brokerage, Capital Markets, Project & Development Services and Property Management teams. 

Experience:

Prior to JLL, George worked at Colliers International for 19 years where he was promoted to VP of industrial research in 2010. George started his career as an analyst at Cushman & Wakefield where he acquired skills in database management, spreadsheet analysis and report writing. He was quickly promoted to senior analyst. After 9 years of learning his craft, he joined Colliers International where he helped develop a web-based database. George was asked to join Colliers International Research Council which implemented strategies and shared best practices to strengthen the Colliers brand. Today George maintains strong relationships with institutional owners, has mentored many researchers in the Chicago market, and continues his work with database management.

Education and affiliations:

George received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. He is also a member of AIRE, Chicago’s oldest Real Estate member organization.

Outside interests:

Outside of work, George likes to spend time with his wife Kathy and three boys- Matthew, Brian and Stephen.
