Career summary

Geoff Tranchina is a managing director in the Los Angeles offfice of JLL Capital Markets, Americas.  He is the Retail Investment Sales lead in the Western States.

He is focused on working with agency leasing and tenant representation retail partners to grow JLL’s sales platform throughout the west with a primary focus on Southern California.

Prior to starting at Wilson Retail Group’s investment Sales Group in 2008, Geoff served as Vice President for Sperry Van Ness in Los Angeles, specializing in the sale of retail properties and land development in Southern California.

With over 12 years of experience, he has completed more than 80 transactions valued in excess of $1 billion.

Within his first year at Sperry Van Ness, Geoff became an Achiever Award winner in addition to reaching the status of Senior Associate. By the time he left SVN in 2008, he was a top ten agent at SVN and was the youngest serving Vice President in the company.

At Wilson Retail Group, he handled the sales of approximately $450mm in anchored shopping centers in addition to $300+mm of land redevelopments, and other challenging institutional quality asset sales.

Prior to joining Wilson Retail Group, Geoff founded and operated an Interactive Entertainment company, focused on the licensing of exclusive game content, in Eugene, Oregon.

While there, he acted as the CEO involved in day-to-day operations, as well as fundraising, strategic vision, and investor relations. He also served as senior financial analyst for Pacific Charter Financial, an investment banking and consultant firm headquartered in Newport Beach, California.

He began his career in marketing at Alpha Shop Network Services, Inc., an internet marketing and consulting firm based out of Eugene, Oregon.

Geoff is passionate about wine, the technology business, and traveling frequently to Europe where he is an investor in a startup brewery in the South of France.

He is married and lives in Brentwood with his wife Beth, daughter Emilia and son Max.
