Current responsibilities:

Ernesto Teran is a Vice President with JLL’s Project and Development Services division in New York City and Team Lead in the variable practice. Ernesto has been at Jones Lang LaSalle for over 14 years and has a diverse amount of expertise in multiple industry sectors including broadcasting studios, retail, hospitality, and infrastructure developments. Ernesto currently supports the Education sector and recently completed a $240MM expansion to a private education facility in New York City.

Experience:

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Ernesto practiced architecture in a world-renowned firm and then became a Principal in a project management firm providing services to retail, residential, hospitality and private investors. In this role he was responsible for Owner’s representation for a ground-up building as well as providing design services for various clients. Ernesto also worked in the Higher Education at St John’s University where he was the Project Director for the buildout of the Manhattan Vertical Campus at 51 Astor Place New York, NY. Prior to that, Ernesto was a Vice President at Citigroup responsible for the delivery of project management services to the Private Client Group. He managed a multitude of corporate office and retail projects in the Northeast portfolio with budgets ranging from $500,000 to $10MM.

Education and affiliations:

Mr. Teran earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance from New York University, a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology. Mr. Teran holds an Architectural license in the State of New York, is a LEED GA Associate and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
