Current responsibilities
Elaine Mottilla is the Executive Vice President and Industrial Property Management Lead for JLL in Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware- part of the Northeast Industrial Region. Elaine is responsible for the bottom-line accountability for her team who manages a portfolio of Class A and B institutionally owned assets in the region. She is responsible for business development and client relationship management in addition to serving on the JLL Industrial Leadership Council which develops strategic initiatives and best practices to be implemented across all markets in the US.

Experience
Prior to joining JLL, Elaine was the senior portfolio manager for Cushman & Wakefield’s Harrisburg, PA office overseeing two office portfolios that totaled over one million square feet. Prior to joining C&W, Elaine provided management and leasing responsibilities for Corporate Office Properties Trust’s commercial office portfolio in Harrisburg, PA. In addition to her office property experience, over the course of her over 30 - year property management career in Central Pennsylvania, she managed a 10 million square foot industrial warehouse portfolio for Prologis and owned her own residential property management business.

Elaine has an extensive background in corporate environmental sustainability planning in addition to the certification process for LEED EB + O&M. As a LEED AP (2007) she developed and implemented portfolio-wide policies based on LEED EB credit prerequisites to meet corporate sustainability goals. She also led a cross-departmental team in the creation and implementation of a property management training program to educate employees and vendors on sustainable operating procedures and oversaw the LEED EB certification of 3 properties. She also facilitated the upload of building and energy data for 200+ buildings into the Energy Star Portfolio Manager to benchmark energy usage.

Education and affiliations
Elaine is a graduate of Millersville University where she earned the Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She holds the LEED AP certification through the US Green Building Council. She is a member of BOMA and holds the dual designations of RPA and FMA from The Building Owners and Managers.
