A recognized market leader for over 34 years, Doug has provided tenant representation services to many of the region’s most highly regarded companies. His extensive experience working in downtown Seattle provides a comprehensive and strategic understanding of market nuances, putting his clients in the best possible position to achieve their short and long term real estate goals. Throughout his career, he was worked with many notable law firms, tech companies, nonprofit companies and government agencies.
Experience
Doug co-founded Washington Partners, Inc. in 1997 and played a big role in growing the boutique tenant representation firm to represent nearly 50% of all completed office lease transactions in Seattle. As the market evolved, he saw the importance of enhancing their service offering to meet the dynamic needs of the firms they represented. This led him to JLL in 2016, where he and his team maintain the same dominant market position today.
Although the service platform has expanded, his level of personal commitment to the clients he represents remains the same. His broad perspective and tenure encompass vast market knowledge, laser sharp analytics, creative solutions and strong negotiating skills.
When he isn’t busy finding solutions for his clients you will find him spending time with his wife, Kay, their two adult children, and their dog Bogie.
