Doug is a Senior Managing Director with JLL Capital Markets, Americas and joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition. Doug co-manages JLL’s Equity Placement Group and is a member of its Leadership Team. His primary responsibilities include managing client relationships and raising equity capital for clients of the firm. Areas of expertise include joint ventures, discretionary funds, recapitalizations, programmatic equity, entity-level transactions, portfolio sales, debt financings, and providing advisory and restructuring services. Doug has more than 30 years of relevant experience and has represented numerous public and private real estate operating companies.
In 2004 Doug came to HFF from Chadwick Saylor, a real estate investment banking/investment management firm in Los Angeles, where he was a managing director and partner. Before that, he was a director at AEW Capital Management, where he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing joint venture and entity-level relationships for the firm’s separate account clients and its opportunity fund in the western United States. Doug also worked for JMB Institutional Realty and Salomon Brothers Realty Group.
