Donald M. Preate is an Executive Managing Director in JLL's New York office. He currently focuses exclusively on tenant representation in the New York Tri-State region but has fulfilled his client requirements in the United States and across the globe through a worldwide platform. Mr. Preate has represented high-profile clients in virtually every industry and takes great pride in his ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.

Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Preate spent 22 years at Cushman & Wakefield where he started as an associate and was one of the youngest professionals to attain the title of Executive Vice President. Mr. Preate was recognized numerous times as a "Top 100" national brokerage professional.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Preate attended New York University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Economic, Cum Laude. He then went on to the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University where he received an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies.
A resident of Manhattan since 1986, Mr. Preate is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, The Cougar Fund, The International Center of Photography, The Museum of Modern Art, Natural Resources Defense Council (Council of 1000), Roosevelt Island Racquet Club, Wildlife Conservation Society and Whitney Museum of American Art.
