Current Responsibilities

Deborah Loewenstein is currently the Senior General Manager for the Tabor Center at 1200 17th Street in Denver. The building is 734,915 square feet of office and retail space. Deborah's responsibilities include the management of daily operations; monthly financial reporting; the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting; managing construction projects; building tenant relationships, oversight of the administrative and engineering staff, special projects for the Callahan portfolio including spearheading LEED recertification for all buildings.

Experience

Deborah has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate management. Prior to working for the Callahan Portfolio she lived in San Francisco and managed a 3 million-square-foot portfolio of industrial, office and retail properties in California and Hawaii for Bristol Group. She was part of the acquisition team for the purchase of a portfolio of 56 industrial properties in Southern California, the largest single industrial purchase at that time.

Prior to that she was asset manager for the Gentry Companies in Honolulu where she managed the commercial portfolio of one of the major home builders in the islands, and also oversaw the sale of a number of "spare" pieces of land that the owner had collected which included 400 acres in Snowmass, Colorado and an island in New Zealand.

She started her real estate career in San Francisco as an assistant manager and later a manager for The Shorenstein Company.

Education and Affiliations

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a master's degree in English from San Francisco State University. She is a member of USGBC's Commercial Real Estate Initiative and Downtown Denver Partnership's Transportation committee.
