Current responsibilities

Mr. Monnin is a Senior Vice President in the Columbus, Ohio office. Since joining JLL in 2004, he has successfully led teams of architects, engineers, vendors and contractors to complete over $100 million dollars of development projects.

His work experience as an owner and a designer enables a broad project perspective that has resulted in strong team collaboration and consistent client satisfaction. 

Experience

Mr. Monnin has nearly 20 years of experience across a wide range of project types including industrial, office, retail, meeting, cinema and multi-site development projects. He is currently the Owner's Representative for Bowling Green State University managing a team in the development of a $200M Master Plan.

Mr. Monnin has completed an 850,000 SF distribution center for CVS Pharmacy in Chemung, NY. Mr. Monnin regularly assists Whirlpool in the process of site selection, budget review, facility decommissioning and lease evaluation of potential sites for their national industrial portfolio. He has developed over two million SF of distribution centers for Whirlpool, one of which was the largest LEED Certified building of its type in the country.

His other assignments have included a 20,000 SF ground up daycare center in downtown Cincinnati for Procter and Gamble, 50,000 SF of office space for Deloitte, a 45,000 SF seven-screen cinema plus a variety of multi-site roll out programs for YUM, Motorola, AT&T and Caribou Coffee.

Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Monnin managed capital improvement projects ranging between $1-2 million per year for Freddie Mac. Mr. Monnin was also a project designer for RTKL Associates and Architectural Interiors in Washington, D.C. where he managed over one million square feet of tenant improvement projects.

Education and affiliations

Mr. Monnin holds an M.B.A from Johns Hopkins University, a bachelor of science in design from the University of Cincinnati and is a LEED Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council.
