Current responsibilities:
Based in Los Angeles, David is Senior Research Director responsible for overseeing property research across property types including industrial, office, and multi-housing in the Southern California region. His role involves working with a strong local and national team to provide market insights to internal and external stakeholders by leveraging over two decades of experience in underwriting private and public market real estate investments.
Experience:
Before returning to JLL in the U.S., David held senior positions with several global investment managers in various regions, one of them being Managing Director and portfolio manager at LaSalle Investment Management in Hong Kong. In this capacity, he conducted fundamental research, managed investment programs, underwrote cornerstone investments into major property platforms, and served as investment committee members of private logistics and retail development funds.
Education and affiliations:
David holds a MA in International Development Policy and BA in Political Science from Stanford University. He is a member of the CFA Institute and ULI.
Outside interests:
Outside the office, David enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering in the community as a youth baseball coach.
