As Chairman of JLL Global Retail Leasing Board, David is responsible for the overall direction, strategy and growth of the firm and to help achieve its goal to grow our retailer representation and agency leasing business, across borders around the world Prior to joining JLL, David served as Senior Vice President of Global Real Estate and Store Development, a post he held since 2009 for Gap Inc., the $16 billion retailer operating Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Athleta, InterMix and Outlet Brands.
David's key achievements have been Pioneering work at Gap chronicled rightsizing locations, well-ahead of the retail curve, as well as successfully expanded the Gap brand in Italy and China. Gap's China presence grew from zero stores in 2010 to over 100 in 2015. David launched Old Navy in Japan, and recently introduced the brand in Mexico. He also steered the brand expansion of Athleta from zero to 100 stores during his tenure at Gap.
