David Shonk is a Managing Director for the Project and Development Services group for JLL’s Southeast Central market. His clients include those in the fields of commercial office, higher education, life sciences and corporate build-to-suit projects. David’s architectural background and experience in managing complex projects make him a consultant his clients can trust with their construction assignments from early feasibility and masterplanning through project closeout.
Experience
With over 25 years’ experience in real estate development, Mr. Shonk has provided consulting and management services for a variety of project types in both public and private sectors He has diversified and extensive experience in all phases of real estate consulting, development, design management and construction management. His leadership and experience has resulted in a cumulative savings of $24 million of managed project costs for his clients.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Shonk worked at Beers Construction Company as a Senior Manager, The Normandie Company as a Program Manager and at Lord, Aeck & Sargent as a Project Architect.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Shonk holds a Master of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
