Current responsibilities
Dan Schneider leads the HUD 232 appraisal division for the Value and Risk Advisory business as well as the northeast senior housing office.
Experience
Before joining JLL, Dan held the position of First Vice President at CBRE and Senior Vice President at Valuation & Information Group (VIG). He spent over 20 years with VIG leading the east coast office with responsibilities primarily including sales/client relationships, training, and management and has extensive experience in valuation services of skilled nursing, senior housing and healthcare-related properties. Mr. Schneider has been on HUD committees for the continued development and improvement of the Lean appraisal and market study guidelines as well as the HUD decision circuit. Most recently, Dan led two discussion panels at the Healthcare Mortgage Advisory Council (HMAC), a non-profit consortium of FHA-approved lenders and industry partners, primarily regarding Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement outlooks.
