Description:
Dan is a Managing Director in the Philadelphia office of JLL Capital Markets, joining the firm in 2022. With over 17 years of experience in commercial real estate finance with a specialty in the multifamily sector, he is primarily focused on placing debt and equity for owners of multifamily properties both within the Philadelphia TriState area but also, nationally. During his career, he has completed more than $15 Billion in total transaction volume. Dan started his career working at a boutique CMBS lending firm before joining Freddie Mac’s multifamily division in 2008 where he worked in loan production. In 2011, after three years with Freddie Mac, Dan joined Berkadia to help overhaul and reboot Berkadia’s Fannie Mae lending platform. During his time with Berkadia, Berkadia’s Fannie Mae production increased from $650 million in 2011 to approximately $5 Billion in 2016 when he departed, propelling Berkadia from the 15th-ranked DUS Lender to a top-3 DUS Lender. Immediately prior to joining JLL, Dan was a Managing Director at Greystone where he was responsible for co-originating multifamily Agency loans with Greystone’s FHA origination team, while also originating new loans from his direct relationships. Dan also opened and was the head of Greystone’s Philadelphia production office. During his tenure with Greystone, Dan and his team closed over $6 billion of total transaction volume.
