Current responsibilities

Dan Evans is a Managing Director in the Tenant Representation practice of Jones Lang LaSalle, as well as a founding principal in the firm’s Government Contracting Practice Group.  Mr. Evans brings over twenty-four years of strategic real estate advisory and tenant representation experience to the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area commercial real estate market.  Mr. Evans has earned multi-year honors at the firm, consistently ranking him as one of the top producing executives of the organization.  In addition to his day to day client responsibilities, Mr. Evans is a noted mentor within the firm responsible for ensuring the core values of Jones Lang LaSalle are maintained, developing strong, technical, subject matter competence among the members of Jones Lang LaSalle.

Mr. Evans has been exclusively engaged by global corporations, professional services firms, trade associations, and high technology companies resulting in completed engagement transaction values exceeded $2.0 billion.  Notable clients include Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., Fannie Mae, Hilton Worldwide, Computer Sciences Corporation, The Professional Services Council, Marriott International, Technology Management Associates, CARFAX, American Systems Corporation, NCI Information Systems, Inc., The Teaching Company and The Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind.

Mr. Evans’ extensive project management skills allows him to lead and manage complex build-to-suit, leasing, acquisition and disposition assignments, with highly successful results, rewarding him with long standing client relationships.  Clients consistently request Mr. Evans to represent them on multiple, global assignments. Mr. Evans’ talent in anticipating market conditions, and aggressively executing transactions to leverage these conditions, has elevated him as a pivotal member of the firm’s Work Dynamics Division.

Education

A life long resident of Northern Virginia, Mr. Evans is a graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.

He is a volunteer teacher in the Junior Achievement program of Northern Virginia, a graduate of Leadership Fairfax (Class of 2000), a member of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and the Programs Committee for the National Capital Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), a member of the Board of Directors of the Radford University Real Estate Foundation and is involved in numerous other community based volunteer organizations.  Mr. Evans has been quoted as a commercial real estate expert in The Washington Times, Washington Business Journal and Virginia Business; has published strategic consulting advice in Enterprise Virginia Magazine; and has addressed local, regional and national audiences, via his speaking engagements, on the topics of tenant representation and the commercial real estate market.
