Current Responsibilities
Clifton is a member of JLL Florida’s Retail Advisory Services team and native to Orlando. Clifton works with members of our team on both key agency leasing and tenant representation assignments and is focused on providing high-value support to both his internal teammates and their clients. Clifton’s extensive background, which combines intense financial acumen along with a refined sales skillset targeted at sophisticated investors, provides him a unique ability to bring an analytical approach to the real estate process alongside his extensive knowledge of the local market.
Experience
Clifton spent the first ten years of his career with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Retail Capital Markets group in New York and San Francisco. In his role as Vice President within the Retail Capital Markets, he worked with senior management and financial advisors to develop, market, and sell investment products to the firm’s high net worth clients. After returning to Orlando to shift his focus into the commercial real esate field, he gained a broad base of knowledge working in development and asset management in the multi-housing market.
Education and Affiliations
Clifton graduated from University of Florida in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in finance, where he was a part of the Honors Program. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Florida as well as a member of ICSC. Having lived in Orlando most of his life, Clifton now resides high above the streets of downtown Orlando. Clifton has a passion for community involvement and service, including being a member of the executive volunteer committee over the past three years for the Orlando Walk for Wishes, which is an annual event to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as working with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America organization.
