Current responsibilities
Christopher Harman, MAI serves as Executive Director of JLL’s Value & Risk Advisory practice with a focus on multi-housing assets, including conventional and small balance multifamily, affordable housing, seniors housing, subdivisions, and build-to-rent and condominium developments. Chris is focused on providing excellence in client service throughout the engagement process ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reports that provide confidence and trust in business decisions related to valuation matters. Mr. Harman’s commercial real estate valuation experience spans over 25 years and includes multiple high-profile complex engagements across Texas including multiple property types.
Experience
Prior to joining JLL in 2024, Mr. Harman served as Senior Managing Director of BBG in Austin since 2018. Mr. Harman’s experience includes a variety of commercial properties on a national basis. Mr. Harman was the founder of HCP Advisors, a boutique commercial real estate valuation and advisory firm based in Austin, and was the former global head of real estate for Enron in Houston. Mr. Harman has testified as an expert witness in Federal Bankruptcy Court in New York as well as State and County courts in Texas on numerous complex valuation matters. Mr. Harman has performed numerous UASFLA - “Yellow Book” assignments across the US as well as thousands of assignments for lenders, attorneys, institutional investors, and developers.
