Career summary
Chip is a managing director in the Atlanta office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 16 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, equity placement, private placements, asset management and restructuring. He is primarily responsible for originating and executing debt and equity placement opportunities throughout the southeastern United States.
Chip started at HFF in October 2011. Before that, he was a vice president of loan production for Cantor Fitzgerald’s securitized lending platform, which he helped establish with several of his former colleagues from Credit Suisse. Prior to Cantor Fitzgerald, he was an asset manager with TriMont Real Estate Advisors and Gramercy Capital, where he focused on bridge loans, mezzanine and equity investments. He began his career with Credit Suisse Real Estate in Atlanta, and was eventually promoted to the firm’s North American headquarters in New York, where he focused on large loans and high-yield debt distribution.
