Current responsibilities 

Charlotte Elstob leads Global Occupier Business Development for JLL Industrial and Logistics in the Americas. Her primary role is to drive business development strategy and new accounts for the Industrial business as well as managing key occupier client relationships. She works closely with JLL’s clients globally and across industries including 3PL, Retail/eCommerce and manufacturing.

Charlotte sits on the Global Industrial Board, responsible for JLL’s Industrial Occupier Strategy, in addition to the JLL Americas Industrial Council and leads the JLL Industrial Tenant Rep Committee. Charlotte is a member of JLL’s Supply Chain Consulting Group.

Due to Charlotte’s background in Retail, she co-leads the Retail Industrial Taskforce, working with new and existing retail clients, advising on their real estate requirements across sectors.

Experience

Prior to her role with Industrial, Charlotte led Cross-Border Business Development for the JLL Americas Retail business and sat on the Global Retail Board. In 2020, she was awarded the JLL Retail ‘Immediate Impact’ award. In 2019, she was voted one of Crains New York Business Rising Stars in Real Estate and voted Chain Store Age: 10 under 40 Retail Real Estate Rising Stars.

Charlotte was previously a Director with the JLL UK Retail and Leisure team, advising large instiututional and international landlords in Central London and nationally including Unbail-Rodamco-Westfield, The Mercers’ Company, Network Rail, Land Securities and Intu Group.

Education and affiliations

Charlotte earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University. Charlotte is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS accreditation).

Charlotte is also a guest lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.
