Senior Vice President, Global Business Development
Charlotte Elstob leads Global Occupier Business Development for JLL Industrial and Logistics in the Americas. Charlotte sits on the Global Industrial Board, responsible for JLL’s Industrial Occupier Strategy, in addition to the JLL Americas Industrial Council and leads the JLL Industrial Tenant Rep Committee. Charlotte is based out of the New York City office.
Charlotte’s primary role is to lead occupier business development strategy and new occupier pursuits for the Industrial business, working closely with key occupier clients as well as JLL’s Industrial teams across North America and globally. Following her move to the US in 2019, Charlotte has spent the last 3.5 years advising international occupiers with their real estate strategy across the US.
Charlotte is a member of JLL’s Supply Chain Consulting Group and 3PL practice group. She works with several occupiers in the 3PL sector including Maersk and Kuehne and Nagel.
Due to Charlotte’s background, she has a specialism in Retail and Charlotte leads the Retail Industrial Taskforce, working with new and existing retail clients, advising on their real estate requirements across sectors.
Prior to her role with Industrial, Charlotte lead Cross-Border Business Development for the Americas for the Retail business and sat on the Global Retail Board. Charlotte worked with retailers and brands to open new locations in the U.S. market. In addition, Charlotte managed JLL’s clients from North America with their international expansion and connected them with the wider JLL global network, launching stores in London, Europe and Shanghai.
In 2020, she was awarded the JLL Retail ‘Immediate Impact / Achieve Ambitions’ award. In 2019, she was voted one of Crains New York Business Rising Stars in Real Estate and voted Chain Store Age: 10 under 40 Retail Real Estate Rising Stars.
Charlotte was previously a Director with the JLL UK Retail and Leisure team, advising large instiututional and international landlords in Central London and nationally including Unbail-Rodamco-Westfield, The Mercers’ Company, Network Rail, Land Securities and Intu Group.
Education and affiliations:
Charlotte earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University. Charlotte is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS accreditation).
Charlotte is also a guest lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and continues to mentor a student, annually, on the BSc Real Estate Management program.
