Buzz is a Managing Director in the Portland office of JLL’s Capital Markets, Americas, and leads the firm’s investment sales practice in the Pacific Northwest region. Since 2004, Buzz and his team have completed over 75 transactions valued at more than $2 billion and totaling over 22 million square feet. As a 30+ year veteran of the Portland commercial real estate industry, Buzz has led some of the region’s highest-profile and most complex capital markets assignments, including the recent sale of the Pittock Block for $326 million, making it the largest office sale on a per square foot basis in Portland history ($1100/SF).
Prior to his capital markets career, Buzz was recognized as one of Portland’s most successful landlord/tenant representation brokers having represented landlords such as Shorenstein Properties, Equity Office Properties, Starwood Capital Group, Prudential, Schnitzer West, Unico Properties and tenants such as Forest City Trading Group, Kindercare/Knowledge Learning, Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney, Liberty Mutual, and PACC/Foundation Health Plan. Buzz utilizes his unmatched asset marketing background gleaned from his leasing experience, a command of real-time office market trends, strong capital markets relationships, and well above standard client communication, ensuring successful outcomes for his clients.
