Current responsibilities
Brian Walsh is a senior director in the Chicago office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He is responsible for arranging debt financing on behalf of institutional and private owners of real estate. Brian joined Jones Lang LaSalle in October 2013.
Brian has extensive experience in the following areas: project-level financing, loan workout and restructuring, portfolio management, and financial analysis.

Prior to joining JLL, Brian was a Senior Vice President and Head of Debt Capital Markets at Pearlmark Real Estate Partners, an investment firm sponsoring a series of private institutional real estate funds with assets located throughout the United States.
While holding this position, he was responsible for the firm’s debt capital markets activities, including managing lending relationships and overseeing property-and fund-level financing activity. Brian closed over $1.5 billion of financing commitments across a wide range of property types including office, industrial, retail, and multifamily and restructured over $450 million of distressed loans.
Preceding his tenure at Pearlmark, Brian spent over five years at JLL (1998-2003), where he was involved in tenant representation, investment sales and debt placement activities on behalf of corporate clients and institutional investors.
