Brian Harris currently co-leads JLL’s Fannie Mae Platform as Senior Managing Director and Chief Underwriter. Brian has been in the Multi-Housing finance industry for 30 years of which 28 years have been dedicated to agency lending serving as the Chief Underwriter for two DUS lenders. He has extensive experience in managing risk at both a Fannie Mae transaction and platform level and is well versed in all Multi-Housing product types including conventional, affordable, seniors, student and MHC housing.
Additionally, Brian regularly participates in various Fannie Mae/lender sub-working groups and has previously chaired the Chief Underwriter subcommittee with Fannie Mae and the DUS lending network in 2020 during the first year of COVID, while having served on this committee for 4+ years. Finally, Brian also manages the centralized closing team that closes JLL’s Fannie Mae and FHA loans, as well as a portion of the Freddie Mac loans and co-manages the pre-funding insurance team.
