Current responsibilities
Bret’s background in finance and growth startups allows for a unique perspective in both quantitative and qualitative aspects of corporate real estate. With strengths in demographic, economic and strategic analysis, Bret focuses on using real estate to help companies achieve their corporate objectives.
Experience
Prior to JLL, Bret spent three years at a venture backed data storage testing company. He was one of the first ten employees and helped to see the company from first product ship to profitability, as well as through two venture financing rounds. During this time Bret also started an iPhone app company which at its peak had ten team members and was able to successfully generate revenue.
Additionally Bret has deep experience in corporate accounting and finance, and was selected to a team of twelve students that managed his universities’ investment fund during his senior year of college.

Education and affiliations
Bret holds a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis on finance from Loyola Marymount University. In the community Bret is a member of the Woodside Priory School and the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce.
