Career Summary
Mr. Thompson joined JLL in 2021 as a Senior Director. He co-heads the multifamily platform in the Washington, DC office and specializes in investment advisory and equity placement of multifamily properties and portfolios in the MidAtlantic region. Mr. Thompson specializes in the disposition, financing and re-capitalization of investment real estate and multi-market portfolios through direct sales, financing, and structured transactions. Mr. Thompson has over 12 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and his transactional experience includes over $10 billion in multifamily investment sales, JV equity capitalizations and multifamily development sites. Mr. Thompson joined the firm in November 2021. Prior to that, Mr. Thompson was a Senior Vice President within Eastdil Secured’s equity sales team in Washington, DC working on multifamily investment sales and portfolio sales in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Thompson was also a member of the Eastdil’s DE&I council. Before Eastdil Secured, Mr. Thompson worked at HFF as a member of the Washington, DC investment sales team. In addition, Mr. Thompson spent four years working on Wall Street as an investment banker as well as an equity trader.
