Current responsibilities
Bob leads JLL’s Property Management practice for the Southwest United States which includes nearly 60 million square feet spanning nearly 300 office and industrial assets. Working with national and regional leadership teams in leasing property management, construction management and capital markets, Bob focuses on maintaining, enhancing and growing client relationships, leading a team of 250+ employees and also acts as a receiver throughout the Southwestern US.
Experience
Bob has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting, investment, management and operations. He joined Means Knaus Partners in 2006, where he served as Chief Operating Officer for the firm’s portfolio of properties and oversaw the firm’s investment management and brokerage operations. While at Means Knaus Partners, Bob helped build a national platform of 30 million square feet of office properties in 20 states through co-investment, receivership, JV partnerships and 3rd party property management.
Before his time at Means Knaus Partners, Bob was Vice President of Real Estate for JMB Realty and oversaw the firm’s management and leasing platforms in the western US including helping rebuild JMB’s property management and entitlement business in Century City, CA. Near the end of his tenure at JMB Realty, Bob helped found the Century City Business Improvement District and also worked on the entitlements for the Constellation Place office tower.
Bob worked on the highly acclaimed West Los Angeles leasing team for Equity Office Properties and helped lease office properties acquired by Sam Zell’s team in Century, Westwood, and Santa Monica. He worked closely with the firm’s leadership on driving market strategy and success. Bob has also held prominent positions with Stream Realty, Beacon Capital Partners, and the Koll Company.
