Current responsibilities
Bill Craig is an Executive Managing Director specializing in tenant representation.

His two main responsibilities include managing the market facing functions for JLL's National Broker Contract with the federal government’s General Services Administration (GSA) and being the National Project Manager for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Broker Contract.

In this role, he has full authority to make decisions on behalf of the firm, including the ability to pull in additional Leasing Personnel as required. 

As a senior member of JLL's Markets group in Washington, DC, Bill is responsible for developing new business opportunities as well as managing existing assignments.

Bill joined the company in October, 1995.

Bill has over 26 years of real estate experience representing corporations, non-profits and federal and local government agencies with the leasing of over 6 million square feet of commercial space.

During that time, Bill has provided clients with strategic and master planning services, lease vs. own analysis, local government incentive initiatives (tax reduction and employment credits), development team creation, financial negotiations, leased acquisitions and headquarters relocation planning and implementation.

For the past two years, Bill has worked with both GSA and VA on mandating lessor Energy Star and LEED compliance/certification

Bill began his real estate career with Spaulding and Slye (merged with JLL in 2005) in 1985. In 1987, Bill was asked to join Cassidy & Pinkard (now Cassidy Turley).

In 1993, Bill worked for Kenneth Leventhal (now part of Ernst and Young) as a Senior Manager working with the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) in the pricing and sale of foreclosed real estate.

Bill holds a bachelors of science in accounting from Villanova University.  In 2005, Bill attended Management Concepts Incorporated’s ”Federal Real Property Leasing for Brokers.” Course materials included review and instruction in: GSAR, GSAM, RSL, FMR, FAR and EO.
