Current responsibilities:

Bennett Johnson is the US COO of JLL Value and Risk Advisory. Based in Los Angeles, he is involved in the growth of the team and ongoing development of the platform to broaden the depth of information used for analytic application.

The focus is to provide information that enables a wide array of advisory services including valuation, market study, feasibility, litigation, asset management, portfolio review, operational analysis and due diligence. 

Clients served include local and national investment firms, owners, development and operating companies, commercial and investment banks, insurance companies and REITs.

Experience:

Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Johnson spent five years with CBRE helping build and lead the national seniors housing and healthcare valuation team with over 20 professionals focused solely in the sector. This included hiring and growing professionals, the creation of a customized database, and overall improvements in the tools and process to drive efficiencies.

Bennett has been a regular participant at industry events including a panelist at the MBA, IMN, and Interface Conferences. He has been involved in the American Seniors Housing Association - Rising Leaders Committee. Plus, has been interviewed and contributed to Globe Street, Los Angeles Business Journal and The Scotsman Guide on the topic of commercial real estate.

Education:

  • Northeastern University, B.S., Major: Business Administration with a triple concentration in finance, marketing and entrepreneurship.

  • Actively involved in the greater Los Angeles community including the Urban Land Institute, as prior Co-Chair of the Young Leaders Group and formerly a junior board member for A Place Called Home in south central Los Angeles.
