He is primarily responsible for project/portfolio, as well as corporate finance transactions and advice throughout the U.S. for a broad range of property types.

Anthony joined HFF in July 2017 from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in Charlotte, where he most recently coordinated the commercial lending and capital markets activities for a broad spectrum of REIT/REOC, real estate opportunity fund/investment manager, homebuilder and real estate service company clients around the U.S. His responsibilities included lending (project/portfolio, subscription/fund level and corporate), debt capital markets (high yield/high grade bonds, Term Loan B and debt private placements), CMBS, F/X and interest rate hedging.

By providing creative, value-added solutions and advice in a broad spectrum of financing situations, Anthony has built long-standing relationships with senior management across a myriad of clients. Having been part of the initial formation of BAML’s Real Estate Corporate Banking Group in 2006, he was also instrumental in the group’s assimilation into the broader real estate client coverage effort alongside the firm’s investment bank. In addition to 24 years of banking experience with BAML and predecessors, Anthony ran a group responsible for the off-balance sheet capital raising efforts for Centex Homes’ land development business.
