Current responsibilities

Andrew J. Policastro, MAI serves as a Senior Director within JLL’s Retail Value and Risk Advisory team. Based out of the New York office, Mr. Policastro’s primary responsibilities include providing valuation and advisory services, mainly in the form of appraisal assignments. Additionally, Mr. Policastro is focused on growing JLL’s valuation and advisory presence in the retail sector throughout the Northeast.

Experience

Prior to joining JLL in 2024, Mr. Policastro worked as Vice President at Property Valuation Incorporated, a commercial real estate valuation and property advisory services firm specializing in New York City real estate as well as Vice President of Valuation at Bowery Valuation. Mr. Policastro began his New York appraisal career in 2012 at Miller Cicero, LLC after completing his training at a boutique appraisal firm in Chicago. 

Mr. Policastro’s appraisal experience includes a wide variety of commercial, retail, industrial, office, multi-family, mixed-use and special use properties, inclusive of new construction and development sites. Starting around 2015, Mr. Policastro began specializing in the new development sector of the market, both ground-up and conversions. Mr. Policastro has narrative appraisal report writing experience, and his assignments have included valuations for mortgage underwriting, tax appeal and various other purposes.
