Senior Director, Research
Amber Schiada is a Senior Vice President and Director of Research for JLL's Southwest Region, leading a team of twelve analysts in six markets. With more than 13 years of real estate experience, Amber specializes in real estate economics, industry trends and real estate forecasting.
In addition, she co-leads all research initiatives for JLL's U.S. High-Tech Practice Group and has extensive experience analyzing innovative companies, venture capital trends, high-tech labor market trends, and the impact on real estate markets across the country.
Amber regularly presents her insights on the market at industry events for organizations including ULI, NAIOP, and CoreNet Global, and is often cited in national media, including the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, GlobeSt., as well as local publications in California.
Amber began her career in 2005 with Rosen Consulting Group as a Research Analyst producing economic, residential and commercial real estate market forecasts on a quarterly basis for the southeast region.
In addition, Amber provided valuable insight on the economy and real estate markets through written reports for clients that included institutional investors, commercial banks and real estate developers, many of which were used in public filings and other due diligence. Amber left the firm as an Associate.
Amber holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of California Berkeley.
She is a member of Urban Land Institute, CREW, and served as the Co-President of the Northern California CoreNet Young Leaders Group from 2016 to 2017.
