Career summary
Amanda is a Director in the Chicago office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. She joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has over ten years of experience in various commercial real estate and finance roles. She is primarily responsible for investment sales for the Midwest multi-housing investment advisory team, which has transacted $2.7 billion throughout the Midwest since 2017.

Since joining the multi-housing investment advisory team in June 2016, Amanda has underwritten more than 100 assets and directly contributed to marketing and closing $1.5 billion in multi-housing transactions. Prior to joining HFF, she asset managed a $200 million, 60-asset commercial real estate debt portfolio for GE Capital. Before that, Amanda was a Senior Analyst on GE Capital’s team managing $5 billion of hospitality, manufactured housing, and affordable housing loans. She started her career in GE Capital’s premier financial management program. Ms. Friant is active in numerous local real estate groups including the Real Estate Finance Forum (Technology Chair), ULI (local product council), and CREW.
