Addition of healthcare technology firm brings building to 97.8% occupancy
Baltimore, MD January 14, 2019 JLL announces today the lease signing of Protenus to Brown’s Wharf at 1615-1637 Thames Street in Baltimore’s Fells Point neighborhood. The full floor addition of the growing healthcare compliance analytics firm brings the 104,000 square foot building to 97.8 percent occupancy.
“Brown’s Wharf is the optimal office option for many growing companies and tech firms, much like Protenus,” noted Tony Gross, Managing Director, JLL. “The second floor space will allow Protenus to expand and continue to grow its position as one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare here in Fells Point, and we’re excited to see where they go from here.”
Protenus will expand by 12,000-square-feet from its current location in Baltimore’s Little Italy neighborhood. “When we began the search for our new headquarters, it was important for us to select a space that reflects our culture and what we value as a company,” remarked Nick Culbertson, CEO and Co-Founder, Protenus. “Brown’s Wharf provides an environment which will allow us to continue to attract great talent to join our rapidly growing team.”
JLL’s Brendan Lough and Peter Jackson represented Protenus and JLL’s Tony Gross represented the landlord, Continental Realty and WorkShop Development, in the transaction. For more information about Brown’s Wharf, visit https://www.crcrealty.com/commercial/browns-wharf/.
