Panorama Holdings to develop Lumeo Apartments in University City

Charlotte, N.C., July 30, 2019 – Panorama Holdings has broken ground for Lumeo Apartments by the University City Blvd station at the LYNX Blue Line Extension in University City. This is one of the first groups of transit-oriented development projects at the light rail station in University City.

Lumeo Apartments offer a unique living option with convenient access to transportation, retail, entertainment, education and employment. The 309-unit apartment complex will feature both outdoor community living and indoor relaxation space, which are popular amenity trends in 2019 according to apartments.com. Adams, both sent representatives to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for Lumeo Apartments, applauding the impact on economic development brought by the project. Charlotte City Councilman for District 4 Greg Phipps also praised Panorama Holdings’ significant investment in the University City community, citing the North Tryon corridor to be “Panorama Corridor” in his remarks at the groundbreaking ceremony.

JLL’s Project & Development Services (PDS) group will handle development and construction project management. Samet is the general contractor. The architect is BB+M. Orsborn Engineering Group is providing civil engineering and landscaping. The interior design is by Vignette. Property management will be handled by FCA. The first apartments will be delivered in 2020.
