Ohio Living relocates headquarters to enhance business operations
JLL brokers 24,000-square-foot lease in Columbus for the not-for-profit aging services system
Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 14, 2020 — Ohio Living announced it is moving its headquarters from 1001 Kingsmill Parkway to 9200 Worthington Road in early 2020. The 24,000-square-foot office space is located near Polaris Fashion Place and was previously occupied by United Healthcare.
The new office building represents a long-term play to enable Ohio Living’s updated workplace strategy by supporting collaboration, flexibility and innovation. The new headquarters will help the organization evolve from its space in a former warehouse, heavy with old-style offices, disjointed cubicle areas and minimal natural light, to a more open, shared environment through designated work areas and hoteling space for remote employees.
Modern amenities like these are trending up for a reason: 85 percent of executives believe smart building solutions can directly enhance employee satisfaction and productivity, an ideal Ohio Living will continue to prioritize in its new space.
In addition to creating an updated atmosphere to align with its refreshed brand, Ohio Living also downsized its square footage. By eliminating unused space, operations can enable high efficiency while still allowing room for future growth.

JLL’s Brad Stricker, Collin Wheeler and Aaron Duncan brokered the deal.
