New self-storage facility opens on East Victory Drive in Savannah
JLL’s PDS team managed construction of new 651-unit CubeSmart facility
Savannah, Ga., April 17, 2019 – JLL’s Project and Development Services (PDS) team is pleased to announce the completion of a new 651-unit upscale self-storage facility just outside of downtown Savannah in Thunderbolt, Ga.
Located at 2201 East Victory Drive and professionally managed by CubeSmart, the multi-story, climate-controlled development is now open and features an easily accessible location convenient to Savannah, Thunderbolt, Wilmington Island and Tybee Island as well the nearby Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Savannah State University and the Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University.
The facility includes climate-controlled units ranging in size from 25 square feet to 300 square feet. Select units have been fitted with the nokē Smart Entry System, a wireless, cloud-based digital key management solution that allows tenants entry using only a smart phone. The Smart Entry System also allows each tenant to easily authorize or restrict access and track activity.
