Life sciences industry veteran joins JLL as regional account director

CHICAGO, March 14, 2019 – JLL announced today it has expanded its life sciences practice with the addition of Michael Wythe as regional account director, overseeing multiple life sciences accounts.

Based in Boston, Wythe joins the firm from Takeda where he was head of facilities and engineering for its Massachusetts Biologics Operating Unit.

“New industry realities are transforming how products are discovered, manufactured and brought to market,” Wythe said. “Joining JLL is an opportunity to apply the expertise I’ve gained over the years to help life sciences companies evolve to deliver high quality products more quickly, more safely and more affordably.”

Over the course of his 27-year career, Wythe has held senior leadership positions with some of the world’s most notable life sciences companies including Novartis, Amgen, Merck and Pfizer.

A member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Wythe holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Purdue University.
