JLL’s Tim Greiner honored by United Way CRE Network
Tim Greiner to be recognized by organization at its 21st Annual Event June 11
PARSIPPANY, N.J., April 22, 2021 — JLL announced that Tim Greiner, executive managing director, will be honored by the United Way Commercial Real Estate Network, receiving the 2021 United Way Spirit Award at the organization’s 21st annual United Way of Northern New Jersey Legacy Event.
Tim will receive the honor during the livestreamed virtual gala, United Way’s largest annual fundraiser, on June 11. The event will feature breakout networking opportunities, the presentation of the impact award and industry insight from a guest speaker.
He will be honored for the time and resources he has dedicated over the past decade to helping the 130,000 households in the Northern New Jersey region that were ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) or in poverty before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Proceeds from the gala will help to support these households.
“It is an honor to support the mission of the United Way of Northern New Jersey as it fights for racial and financial equity for families who are one hardship away from extreme distress,” Tim said. “The United Way’s data driven approach to identify and advocate for the underserved ALICE population became even more important last year during the Covid-19 pandemic. That distress came for many of those families who never before qualified for federal or state financial aid…and the United Way stepped in to help those in need. I’m proud of the work that United Way of Northern NJ has done to help those families and I’m grateful to the organization that has been part of my life for over 20 years. My wife, Amanda and I, want to thank the organization for the 2021 United Way Spirit Award, and we look forward to continuing our effort to helping struggling families reach personal and financial success.”
Tim is a United Way Board of Trustees member and Commercial Real Estate Network Committee member, as well as a former co-chair of the Network’s fundraising event. He has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the organization, contributing to JLL’s continued support as a gold sponsor, and has committed himself as a Tocqueville Society donor.
Tim oversees the office brokerage leasing activities in NJ and leads over 50 professionals in a collaborative culture that is focused on delivering excellent service to JLL’s occupier and investor clients. He received a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a minor in business administration from Vanderbilt University.
