JLL selected as exclusive leasing partner for Southlake Office Park near Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, February 25, 2019 – On behalf of new owner and developer City + Ventures, JLL today announced the firm has been awarded the exclusive leasing assignment for Southlake Office Park, a 300-acre, eleven-building office and technology park located along College Boulevard from Interstate 35 to Renner Boulevard in Lenexa, Kansas, 18 miles southwest of Downtown Kansas City.

The office park boasts more than 784,557 total square feet of rentable office space with current availabilities ranging from 21,741 square feet to 77,164 square feet of office space across the various assets. The largest contiguous space currently available is 42,000 square feet.

JLL Senior Vice President Jeff Kembel, Vice President RJ Trowbridge and Vice President Patrick Meraz will lead the leasing and marketing efforts.

The park has an on-site daycare center, the Lenexa Conference Center and the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce, and is strategically located in the center of Johnson County with easy access to I-35, I-435 and K-10 Highways. 

Current amenities include a three-mile walking trail, seven well-stocked ponds, redundant high-speed fiber and dual power feeds. New amenities and upgrades to the properties are expected to begin later this year, including Class A common areas and tenant finishes, and the development of interior land sites with complimentary uses for the existing office tenants. City + Ventures will have an office onsite, adding increased stability for existing and future tenants.

JLL Capital Markets completed the successful sale and financing of the Southlake Portfolio for City+Ventures, a first-time buyer in the Kansas City market, earlier this month.
