JLL Puerto Rico participates in Encuentro Familiar Econo 2019
This is the first time that JLL participates in this community support event that the Econo Supermarket chain organizes every year.
In an atmosphere of warmth and community support, Supermercados Econo, a chain of Puerto Rican supermarkets, celebrated its 20th Annual Encuentro Familiar Econo, from July 10th to 14th at the Wyndham Gran Rio Mar Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
With the initiative of getting known on the island, this is the first time that the JLL Puerto Rico group joins this convention. Part of the activities of the event were conferences, exhibitors and future connections in the industry. JLL was part of the supplier’s exhibition, offering information on the integrated services available on the island.
Also, the event had the Econo Presidential Cup 2019. More than 300 players gathered in the tournament and JLL Puerto Rico had an excellent representation: Vicente Moreno (PDS), Luis Torres Acosta (IFM), Andy Carlson (National Director) and Luis Blanes (ES/MES); the latter being the winner of the Closest to the Pin award of the cup. The tournament achieved its goal for the 17 non-profit organizations to which the donations of said activity are destined.
The favored organizations with a total of $ 450,000 dollars in collections were: Ayuda al Necesitado, Inc., Boys and Girls Clubs, CAP, Fundación El Ángel, Fundación Golitos, Fundación Hospital Pediátrico, Fundación Kinesis, Fundación Pediátrica de Diabetes, Habitat for Humanity, Jóvenes de Puerto Rico en Riesgo, Liga Puertorriqueña contra el Cáncer, Multisensory Reading Centers, Niños de Nueva Esperanza, Politécnico Amigó, Rayito de Esperanza, SER de Puerto Rico, St. Jude Children Research Hospital y Susan G. Komen.
